Trouser Dress
Take a lookie look at what I made from a pair of size 40 men’s trousers I bought for 50 cents!
Trousers!
I cut the top part into a pearish shape and added an elastic waist. Then I made an Obi belt out of the fabric from the legs to cover the ugly elasto-waistband…almost a completely No-Waste refashion!
My fly’s undone.
I wore a simple LBD under my new skirt, and voila! The whole thing looks like a dress!

Feeling adequately frocked, I met up with a couple of pals to see the 2010 Vista Queen Pageant at Trustus Theatre.

Of course this was no ordinary beauty pageant…:)

All of the queens were wonderful! We had such fun being serenaded, heckled, and ultimately verrrrry entertained by all of them, but my vote went to…(drum roll please)…

I actually do if I want to take normal human-sized strides. 🙂 Otherwise, I’d be mincing around like Morticia Addams! Glad you like! I think I’ll have to make some more!

I wonder what’s up…I checked two computers and they’re loading up fine. You might need to delete your cookies or update your flash…that always seems to work for me when I have that problem. 🙂
