You Spin Me Right Round

(I Never Promised You a) Wall Garden
Step into My Office

I don’t frequently splurge at the thrift store, but when I discovered this gorgeous  1968 Zenith console stereo, I knew it had to come home with me.

It was love at first sight.

  1. This type of thing makes you special. I do have a manual can opener and a friend asked me, “What is this and how does it work?” Hah!

  2. Enjoy! I used to love putting a stack of albums on while I did household chores. On of my favorite albums is the original soundtrack of Star Wars.

  3. I recently bought an old stereo with turntable. I have gone crazy with thrifting records. I’m not limiting myself. I bought big band, folk, funk and some bluegrass so far. And comedy. Never forget the comedians.

  4. My husband inherited a record player/radio from his grandmother, somewhat similar to this. He gutted it and installed a new (working) turntable, CD player (still outdated) and Bluetooth (there we go!) with speaker upgrades. It is an awesome piece of furniture.

  5. And now you can listen to that fabulous Sergio Mendes album! My absolute favorite…grew up with his music, and it’s just as relevant today (for me, anyway!)
    Great find!
