Meet Douglas!
You see, I’m a new mom! 🙂
I sadly didn’t have the time for a blog post yesterday, as I was busy getting this little guy acclimated to his new abode!

He’s a mini dachshund, and I absolutely adore him!
Don’t fret! I promise to make up for this missed refashion day! 🙂

Thanks! The cat is actually my roommate’s, but yep..he’s staying too. He even lets Douglas lick his face without getting mad! 🙂
So lucky! My kitty still bullies and picks on pup occasionally, and my pup is like 30-40lbs now. The big baby lets him do it without ritaliation too. She just really wants to be friends with everyone, including grumpy & declawed older kitties.
Awesome, pets are better in pairs 🙂

He’s the cutest AND he is such a Douglas it’s uncanny! Congratulations from me and “duke john wayne.”
Douglas is so cute! We used to have a doxie named Eddie. We called him Special Ed. I hope Douglas is smarter than Eddie was. Actually, I think he was too smart for his own good. My advice, make sure to watch the Dog Whisperer and stay the pack leader. Doxie’s can be very domineering. They’re so darn cute though, it’s hard to stay mad at them.

As a vet student I have to say, the Dog Whisperer should be avoided. Dominance theory is outdated and based on bad science.
