Day 140: These Boots Aren’t Made For Slouchin’
So…I have this nifty pair of suede boots that have one problem.
They slouch. A lot. When I first bought them, they slouched a little, but as the leather softened, they began to slouch all the way to my ankles. :/
It doesn’t necessarily look all that bad, but what about when I want them to be higher?
Not to worry! I cut of couple of strips from the black bed sheet I have in my stash. 🙂
I tied them around the part of the boot where the leather flaps over, like so:
Now my boots’ posture problems are solved! 🙂
Cheers!

Very clever! NIce boots too 🙂
I thought I was the only one with this problem bc my calves are really narrow and I look ridiculous with slouchy boots practically puddling on the floor. Genius idea!!!
Shoe repair shops can alter your boots too!
Oooh! A good thought! I have some vintage heels that need re-tipped too!
