Day 308: Flit & Flirt Dress
Today’s piece was curiously tagged “Small”.
I beg to differ. :/
Actually, I don’t beg. I just differ! :/
I wanted something fun and flirty to wear for this month’s First Thursdays on Main art crawl. Obviously, this was not it…yet! 😉
First, I pulled the neck hole down under my arms and pinned it in the front with my favorite brooch in the world. 🙂
Pinned!
This left the rest of the top looking like this:
Hmmmnn…what now? 🙂
I tucked the sleeves in to make fake pockets (Fockets!). 🙂 I’ll probably go back and actually sew them into real pockets, but I was in a hurry! 🙂
And here’s the end result!
Sassy!
I got loads of compliments on my new frock as a flitted & flirted through all of Main Street’s Art Galleries! 🙂
Who is that mystery woman???
Why, it’s none other than the lovely Jazz! 🙂
Chillin’ with Ron at Tapp’s!
Seriously…I adore this brooch, folks! 🙂
Cheers!

Very chic! How would it look with the sleeves tied like a sash?
Cute! Very “Tinkerbell”. 🙂
