Yay! It’s time to announce the winners of the Vintage-Patch Giveaway! 🙂

But first, check out this quickie puppy refash I did! Douglas is a tiny little guy with not much fur. This means that when I take him outside he gets all shivery and cold. I decided to make a little something for him. 😉

A Warm & Cozy Puppy! 🙂

All I did was cut a sleeve off a shirt from my “To Be Refashioned” bin, added leg holes, and Ta-da! 🙂 This is an extremely rough prototype of future puppy clothes that I plan on making from leftover scraps for the little guy. 🙂

🙁 Bummer, I didn’t win. However, I did pick up an awesome zip up wool cardigan today at Goodwill, and just purchased a really cute pair of my very own vintage patches. I didn’t realize these come from across the pond. So cool. Can’t wait til they arrive to do my first refashion. Thanks for the ideas!

Cute refash for Douglas. Reminds me of the one I did for my puppy ages ago. Took an argyle sock, cute leg holes and slipped it on. Haha

I’ve been going through your “year 2″ posts and you have truly inspired me to start refashioning my own thrift-scores. I headed to Salvation Army today and picked up 7 dress/skirt/amazing print/fabric-y things, all on the 99 cent color special of the week, so will start figuring on what I’m going to do soon! I’m up near the Chicago area so I can’t do as many summery dresses as you do, but hey, if I can pair it with some leggings, that will work! 🙂 Thanks for blogging all your refashions, they’ve been the final push I needed to get started!

P.S. is your new puppy an adoption? I volunteer with a local animal shelter and love hearing about how animals get adopted to new families!

Where did you get your rug? Love it!

It’s from Tar-jay (aka Target). It’s actually an indoor/outdoor rug. I like it because it covers up the ugly stained carpet beneath it (yay rentals!) and it’s really cushiony. 🙂

Douglas is the cutest! 😀 I can’t wait til I can move out of my stupid apartment and get a dog.
