I’m quite happy with how today’s thrifted outfit came together. 🙂
Those among you with eagle eyes and a good memory will recognize that gorgeous angora/wool sweater from last week’s Thrift Score Thursday. 🙂
It didn’t look like much on the hanger…

…but its cautionary tag told me I probably shouldn’t underestimate it.

While I’m showing labels, check out this one from my skirt!

La Roque is a fairly upscale local brand here in Columbia, SC. It’s what I’ll be doing right after I win the lottery, only with repurposed/salvaged fabrics. Hey…a working class girl can dream.
My shoes are vintage Aldo brogues, purchased at a consignment shop, and the necklace used to belong to my grandmother. 🙂

Despite the chilly weather, my sweater kept me oh-so-warm!

Here’s the total cost of today’s outfit:
Sweater: $1
Skirt: $1
Shoes: $15
Necklace: Free (Given to me by my Grandmother)
Come back tomorrow for Chapter Two of One Dress, Three Ways: Fake Vest Edition!
Cheers!
I so want you to sell your own clothing line! I would be a prime customer!
Stunningly gorgeous, the whole outfit!
LOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!
I love this entire outfit, but that skirt is extra amazing! I wish I could see the fabric a little closer up because it looks pretty spectacular.
I’ll add a close-up pic later for ya. 🙂
Very chic…
Wow – super cute outfit and talk about a bargain! Those Aldo shoes are to die for.
Love that sweater! I can never find anything that cute!
So adorable. I must admit, I’m drawn to the 50s styles.
I LOVE this outfit, so cute. And you sure can’t beat the price! Lots of mix and match potential with all of the pieces as well.
What a great outfit! What a bargain!! Love it!
Great put-together. I tend to wear my Thrifties as they are rather than restyle them-now that doesn’t include altering them to fit better
you really broke the bank with those shoes! Go Powerball!!
Love the whole outfit. Adorbs!
I LOVE this outfit! Very cute and well put together. Bravo!

That is an adorable outfit! I love the shoes the mostest.
Sweet! You have such a good eye for thrifting, be the tre magic is how you pull them together
Truly Refreshing!
Wow you have some amazing thrift shops near you or I should say some fab people who gift to thrift….
Easily one of the nicest outfits I have seen you put together. So feminine and flattering without being fluffy and kitsch!
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very cool outfit!! And your Grandmothers necklace is a beauty! Is she a hipster like her granddaughter?
The goodwill stores in our area are more expensive. They don’t have items for 1.00.
Next time you’re there, ask the salesperson when markdowns happen throughout the week. The one near my house has a $1 rack on Saturday and a 50 cent rack on Sunday! Pluse the $1 a pound clearance centers are 1/2 off on Sunday too! 🙂
Great look!
I love this outfit! Good job.
You look spectacular in the entire outfit, but Im most partial to your cute cute collared wool/angora sweater that had to be sooo comfy! You Rock Jilli Girl!
Jillian, you have that elusive “it” factor – the reason everything looks good on you. You know your body, you see how clothing fits together and you know how to accessorize perfectly. AND you carry yourself with confidence. The icing on the cake is that you do it without spending a fortune.
Love today’s outfit!
Love, love, love it!
Love the print on the skirt, the gorgeous pink sweater, the funky shoes and you beautiful necklace is a real treasure too! tfs Karen x
Totally fabulous! I’m loving the daily posts too.

Also, I’m with Beakie – I live in Columbia and have never found the kinds of things you find in thrift stores!
Love this! It’s great to get a daily post of inspiration.
I live south of the VA hospital here in Cola. Would you be wiling to divulge where you shop? We don’t wear the same size………
Love the whole outfit!
I love the shoes…..
I’m loving your daily blog! I was just thinking “Did I miss today’s? Or did I already read it this morning?”
Nope, here it be!
I wish I could rate this outfit more than five stars. You really outdid yourself this time! This look is right up my alley.
Unreal. So jealous!!
