Today’s dress wasn’t so bad when I first found it. 🙂

That blue hue is all sorts of awesome, but this dress needs a bit more pizzazz!
First, I shortened the sleeves with a couple o’ snips.

Then, I put my dress on my dress form and started cutting the hem. I went for a shorter in the front, longer in the back look…a mullet skirt, if you will. 😀

I used that bottom scrappy part as a sash to cinch the waist.
Not too shabby for a no-sew refash! 🙂

Love this! Especially because of the hi-low skirt,but I’ve found it’s easier to cut a hi-low skirt evenly if you fold it and then cut, like so http://apair-andaspare.blogspot.com/2011/10/diy-fishtail-skirt-free-people.html. Keep up the great work!!!
