Today’s piece began as one of my least favorite garments.

Blech! Polo! 🙁

I really hate Polo shirts.  I’ve had to wear them all too often in service industry jobs of days past.  They always look like uniform shirts to me, even this one with its funky frayed hems and exposed seams.

I mean, come on!  This is Labor Day!  The last thing I want to be reminded of is work!  🙂

Not to worry! All this top required was a few snips!

Behold...a Cankle

Urban Dictionary defines a Cankle as “The absence of a defined ankle on a person – whereby the calf of the leg merges directly into the foot. The calf appears to replace the ankle – hence the term “cankle”.

My solo cankle was caused by an allergic reaction to a bug bite.  Let’s hope the swelling goes down soon.  🙂
