I was super excited/surprised when a couple Fella and I are good friends with surprised us with an early wedding present: A free stay at a lovely Bed & Breakfast in Asheville, NC! 🙂 I love visiting Asheville. It’s a fun bohemian mecca with lots of art, tasty restaurants, cool people, and beautiful scenery! I knew just what I wanted to wear for the trip!

I’m not a fan of bright pink. That’s why you don’t see me wearing much of it. While this dress would have been perfect for Barbie, it’s completely wrong for moi. 🙂
I reached into my dye stash and pulled out my navy blue dye.

Quite a few of you guys have asked about whether or not it’s dangerous to use dye in your washing machine. I used to worry about this myself. If you follow the instructions (printed inside the box) on how to use the dye, as well as how to clean your machine afterwards, you should be totally fine. 🙂
I submerged my pink dress into its dye bath.

After leaving my dress in the dye for about 45 minutes, I ended up with a much-improved hue! 🙂

We stopped at a terrific restaurant called Lexington Avenue Brewery for lunch, where I couldn’t resist photographing my delicious Devil Beet Salad. 🙂

After a fun day wandering about downtown, we settled in at the Blake House Inn for the evening, where we were welcomed with chocolate-covered stawberries and cider. 🙂

I hope everyone else has had a wonderful weekend too! 🙂
Cheers!
I’m quite in love with the way the dye affected both colored sections and left behind the purple/blue combo. Very, very cute!
