This was a bittersweet night, folks. Tonight marked the end of Mr. B’s Goodtime Karaoke Explosion. 🙁
Yes…there are other Karaokes out there, but as any Karaoke enthusiast knows, all Karaokes are not created equal. Followers of this blog have seen all sorts of wacky Wednesday night photos, such as this:
You can see more of such awesomeness here. 🙂
Sad though I was, I knew I needed to overcome my unemployment blues and make it out to support Mr. B and the best Karaoke Night in Columbia.
I chose to wear this sexy numba:
You’re looking at a simple button-down skirt in a lovely floral print. I left the top button buttoned, and unbuttoned the three buttons below it.
After sticking my arm through the hole and tossing on a belt, I have a lovely little frock! No sewing required! 🙂
I had a blast in my new dress with my wonderful Karaoke pals. 🙂
Cheers!

I have read every single one of your blog posts (I’m an addict) and you have inspired me to try my hand at refashioning! Here’s the link to the refashion that I did which was inspired by yours here.

I would love to hear your feedback if you have the time!
Thanks for the inspiration and all that you do!

Sweet (and I am too old for this) …a “Switch and Swap” dress aka skirt….
Smart! I’m stealing this idea & I’m not even a dress girl but I’d do it with a shorter skirt & leggings. I saw what u did on racheal ray (dvr) 🙂
What is going on with karaoke places? My favorite bar got sold to a new owner several months ago & the new owner doesn’t like karaoke. We haven’t been back. I LOVE your blog & had to go back & read every single post. We have so many things in common & I admire all you have done & survived!!! You are an AMAZING lady!!! Keep your head up. An end is just a beginning getting started!
So cute, I love your creative re-styling…especially this “no-sew” one!! I found you via The Rachel Ray show and I am enjoying your blog. I lost my favorite karaoke place last year, good luck finding a new one! xo

These are my favorite styles of refahions that you do – the over-the-shoulder solution. Love it!
You truly are amazing and soooooo creative. I wish i had one ioata of your talent and creativity.
So enjoyed your appearance on Rachel Ray. Hope to see you again and again..Can we say “regular feature”?????
Great, fun dress. It’s kind of sad to see your Karaoke night closing down. Hopefully, you will find a new one to replace it that is just as good- xo Diana
