Day 308: Flit & Flirt Dress
Today’s piece was curiously tagged “Small”.
I beg to differ. :/
Actually, I don’t beg. I just differ! :/
I wanted something fun and flirty to wear for this month’s First Thursdays on Main art crawl. Obviously, this was not it…yet!
First, I pulled the neck hole down under my arms and pinned it in the front with my favorite brooch in the world.
Pinned!
This left the rest of the top looking like this:
Hmmmnn…what now?
I tucked the sleeves in to make fake pockets (Fockets!). I’ll probably go back and actually sew them into real pockets, but I was in a hurry!
And here’s the end result!
Sassy!
I got loads of compliments on my new frock as a flitted & flirted through all of Main Street’s Art Galleries!
Who is that mystery woman???
Why, it’s none other than the lovely Jazz!
Chillin’ with Ron at Tapp’s!
Seriously…I adore this brooch, folks!
Cheers!

Very chic! How would it look with the sleeves tied like a sash?
Cute! Very “Tinkerbell”.
“Fockets” – brilliant!
